Block button against sexism/racism/homophobia

I get bummed by the rampant sexism, racism and homophobia on this website. It really takes the joy out of trading to read what horrible things people are writing in the comments, especially if you're from one of the groups being talked about. Reported many times, haven't seen any improvement.

If you're not going to do active moderation, could we at least get a block button so I can take matters in my own hand and hide repeat offenders myself? That would improve things at least somewhat.
